About Surabhi Gir Goshala

Surabhi Gomaata Seva Trust® was founded in May 2023 by Sri Govind Kirtana Dasa (S. Govindappa) and Sri Venulola Dasa (Venkatesh Mudgal) with the divine desire to share transcendental knowledge and help society advance spiritually by practicing the Vedic way of life. The Trust began humbly with two Gir cows – Kumkum and Saraswati. With divine blessings, it has now grown into a serene spiritual centre featuring:

  • A Goshala (capacity: 35 cows)
  • Parama Karuna Sri Nitai Gouranga Temple
  • A Kitchen serving up to 200 people daily
  • A Party Hall for 100 people
  • Open Dining for 200 guests

OUR MISSION

Compassion in Daily Action

We exist to rescue, nourish, and rehabilitate cows with dignity. Every routine — from fodder prep to bedtime checks — is designed to keep our herd calm, healthy and loved.

Our Three Core Objectives

To Protect and Nurture Gomata

To serve and safeguard our cows, involving the public in this sacred duty of caring for Mother Cow.

To Distribute Sanctified Prasadam

To nourish the community villages both spiritually and physically through the distribution of sattvic and sanctified food.

To Spread the Holy Name

To distribute spiritual merit and happiness to all through joyous and uplifting practice of Harinama Sankirtana (Bhajans).
